Credit to: Rose McGowan Has Been Indicted For Felony Cocaine Possession BY: Allison
Back in January 2017, airline workers found Rose McGowan’s wallet after she left the plane at Washington Dulles International Airport, and inside they found cocaine. Rose swore the coke wasn’t hers, and claimed it was planted by one of Harvey Weinstein’s minions. Regardless of what Rose wanted the law to believe, the law has recently determined that she was in possession of coke that day.
As expected, Rose had a hearing in Loudoun County, Virginia yesterday and TMZ says that she pled not guilty to the charge. She claimed that she had been away from her wallet for five hours before it was returned to her. She also maintained that the two baggies of cocaine inside were somehow planted by someone associated with Harvey Weinstein in an attempt to discredit her from speaking out about the alleged abuse she suffered.
Still, a grand jury indicted Rose for one felony count of possession of a controlled substance. According to WTOP, the maximum sentence for felony coke possession is ten years in prison. However, TMZ seems to think she won’t serve more than a year.
Despite the grand jury telling her their feelings, Rose continues to believe she is innocent and that she was targeted because of who she is. Her attorney Jose Baez says:
“Rose steadfastly maintains her innocence. These charges would have never been brought if it weren’t for her activism as a voice for women everywhere. I assure you, this selective prosecution will be met with a strong defense.”
The court will reportedly set a trial date today. Rose hasn’t said anything personally, but let’s revisit her initial thoughts on the matter, shall we?
Are they trying to silence me? There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia. What a load of HORSESHIT.

It’s not known if Rose’s lawyer will employ a “this is a load of horseshit” defense. Their best bet might be to help solve the mystery of why she was away from her wallet for five whole hours. On an airplane? Without a wallet? I’m pretty sure airlines now charge you at least $10 to recline your seat and $5 to look out the window.
